Just got off the phone with phone co., who said there was nothing they could do to prevent ATT from charging us $2.99, even though we do not have telephone service. At least this charge only began in June.
This is not good. My local TV and internet provider is unable to protect my account from getting charged willy-nilly by a phone company. Looks like we will be dealing with Mediacom from now on.
